FAQs

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we get. Please review this info, and let us know if anything is unclear. We’re always happy to help!

Where are the forms?

Here is a link to the Participation Waiver. Please download, fill-out, sign, and bring to camp. An electronic copy of this is also available/collected on RunReg, our registration portal but we do need a physical copy as well. Thank you!

Here is a link to the Athlete Questionnaire. This is a Google Form. Please complete it. Electronic submission is perfect.

Is B.A.S.E. XCamp insured?

YES. We have a standard youth sports camp policy. This covers our directors, coaches, volunteers, and the Town of Stratham.

What is the cancellation/weather policy?

We, along with the Town of Stratham, reserve the right to cancel camp for any reasons related to security or weather. Final decisions will be communicated to parents and athletes through email as soon as possible, with as much advanced warning as we can provide.

What should I bring to camp?

All campers <18 years old MUST bring a waiver signed by a parent. All campers in general are also asked to bring a FULL water bottle, a clean t-shirt or tank to change into after the run, running shoes (trail or road, but leave the XC spikes at home), sunscreen, and bug spray. We encourage you to bring snacks as well, but some breakfast food will be made available by BASEXCamp too.

Is there a dress-code?

Sort of. It is up to parents and athletes to decide what they feel comfortable and safe running in; however, after the run athletes are expected to wear a t-shirt or tank top during the guest speaker portion of the morning.

What if my child has an allergy/medical need?

Please be sure to fill out our Athlete Questionnaire prior to your child attending camp. We need this information on file so we can properly prepare. If your child does have any special needs, please send them with any medications (e.g., inhalers, EpiPens, etc) that they may need, and also provide us with instructions about how the medication should/will be stored and/or used (e.g., should your child have it on them at all times? Should a staff member have it available at the main meeting area? Etc.). If you child has a food allergy, please send them with a snack for after the run. We will do our best to have snacks that accommodate most diets, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all allergies/diets or limit cross-contamination.
